Founded in 2012 and based in Changsha, China, Intekit brings research and development, manufacturing, quality control, and sales together in one organization. Our focus is clear: intelligent lighting solutions designed specifically for pool and spa environments.

For more than a decade, we have worked deeply in this specialized field. Every generation of our products began with a real customer problem—from unreliable underwater remote signals and complicated switch sequences to the growing demand for app control, voice control, tunable white, music sync, and personalized scenes.

2012 THE FIRST GENERATION

BASIC

MORE COLOR, A NEW EXPERIENCE

Color Remote Pool Light

Our first-generation color remote pool light was designed to replace conventional incandescent pool lighting. For the first time, users could move beyond a single white light and bring more color to the water.

WHAT WE LEARNED Water, distance, and the light housing made it difficult for the handheld remote signal to reach the underwater light reliably. Response rates were too low.

2014 THE SECOND GENERATION

RELIABLE SIGNAL & SYNCHRONIZATION

PoolSync

PoolSync used the power switch, a microcontroller, and precisely timed on/off intervals to select colors and scenes. It solved the underwater signal problem and allowed multiple lights to stay synchronized.

WHAT WE LEARNED Reliability improved, but operation became complicated. Reaching a favorite color could require many switch sequences and a great deal of patience.

2017 THE THIRD GENERATION

A BREAKTHROUGH IN UNDERWATER CONTROL

SignalPro 2

SignalPro 2 was a defining step forward. A dedicated controller gave users direct access to seven colors and seven scene modes through both a handheld remote and a control panel—combining reliable transmission with straightforward selection.

THE NEXT QUESTION As smart lighting entered everyday homes, customers began asking: “Why can’t my pool light work more like Philips Hue?”

2019 THE FOURTH GENERATION

THE POOL LIGHT BECOMES SMART

PoolSmart RGB

PoolSmart RGB expanded our signal technology into connected lighting. Users could control pool colors through the app, Alexa, a handheld remote, or the wall-mounted controller panel—without requiring the underwater bulb itself to receive Wi‑Fi.

CUSTOMERS WANTED MORE White light. More than seven colors and seven scenes. Music sync, schedules, and the freedom to create personal scenes. Reliable transmission was only the beginning.

2024 THE FIFTH GENERATION

THE COMPLETE ECOSYSTEM

Intekit Plus

After years of development, Intekit Plus arrived with the ability to process more complex commands and deliver the experience customers had been asking for: 16 million colors, tunable white, smooth dimming, 32 preset scenes, music sync, scheduling, custom scenes, app control, voice control, remote control, and direct panel control.

A reliable underwater-lighting experience depends on matched voltage, compatible hardware, correct electrical installation, dependable communication, and coordinated lamp response. Our approach evaluates how these parts work together before the product reaches the customer.

Smart Lighting Beyond The Reach Of Ordinary Wireless Signals.

Water, depth, and metal pool-light housings can severely weaken or block conventional wireless communication. A normal smart bulb placed inside an underwater fixture may struggle to receive a usable signal from above the water.

Intekit Plus takes a system-level approach. App, voice, remote, or panel commands reach the controller first. The controller processes the command and communicates with compatible pool and spa lights through the connected electrical wiring.

Controllers and compatible lighting are available for both 120V AC and 12V AC systems. Always match the controller and bulbs to the same voltage and electrical system.

System compatibility matters. A 12V AC controller and 12V AC bulbs must be connected to the same transformer’s 12V AC output. A 120V AC controller and 120V AC bulbs must be connected to the same branch circuit. Do not mix voltages or use controllers and bulbs across separate transformers or circuits.
